Have you ever admired someone who can quote a movie off the top of their head and integrate it into a conversation seamlessly? Now you can be one of those people thanks to Hark.com.

Created by David Aronchick, Hark.com is a media platform that enables communities to upload and share their favorite quotes, images or sound bites from movies, television shows and even video games. The site allows you to immediately find the answer to any and every quote you may have forgotten, but didn’t know how to find.

“People are desperate to find the quotes, the images, the little bits of the things they love most, and then be able to share them across the web. And that’s what we do best,” Aronchick told this weekend’s edition of “Geekwire“.

Aronchick came up with the idea when he was trying to recite a quote from the movie “War Games” with his buddy. When they found out how difficult it was to find the quote on the Internet, they came up with the idea to create Hark.com.

“When we saw that it was that hard find something that we knew there was a lot of consciousness around, we immediately decided to kick it off and launch a project to help studios do that,” said Aronchick.

Hark.com has partnered with several Hollywood studios in order to share their content freely over the Internet. With the ever changing landscape that the Internet presents, Aronchick says they have a good enough relationship with the studios to where they both split the profits.

“We have an incredibly rich platform so anyone can upload anything, but some of the most valuable things that we’ve done have been actually partnering with some studios,” Aronchick said.

The easiest way to find which quote you’re looking for is by typing it into a search engine such as Google or Bing. The long, keyword search generally leads to a link from the Hark website, where you can find thousands of quotes from every movie or television show that’s ever been created.

“Last month we had 48 million visitors,” Aronchick explained. “We’re now bigger than Rotten Tomatoes and Flixster combined. It’s just been an absolute blast.”

Whenever you forget a quote from that favorite movie of yours from now on, all you have to do is search Hark.
