Four arrested during protests in downtown Seattle

Seattle police officers arrested four people Saturday afternoon for various charges as a protest weaved its way through downtown Seattle.
Bike officers attempted to arrest an individual wanted for a reported assault at 5th Avenue and James Street when three additional protesters interfered. The interference was successful, the SPD Blotter reads, but police did arrest the three for obstruction and resisting arrest.

Officers arrested a man who was carrying a fixed blade knife, which is illegal in the city of Seattle, at 4th Avenue and James Street later in the afternoon.
SPD reports that the group made its way back to Pioneer Square and broke up at 5 p.m.
The four people arrested were charged as follows: 25-year-old woman for obstruction and resisting arrest; 26-year-old man for obstruction; 33-year-old woman for obstruction and resisting arrest; and 25-year-old man for an unlawful weapon.
All four were booked into King County Jail.
