With so many events and construction around Seattle this weekend, the Seattle Department of Transportation says drivers should be prepared for plenty of delays getting around town.

Streets throughout downtown Seattle and the I-5 Express lanes will be closed Sunday morning as thousands of runners converge on the area for the annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis.
Adding to the aggravation, construction will close SR 99 and eastbound Mercer Street from Friday night through Monday morning. SR 99 will be fully closed to traffic between Valley Street and the southern end of the Battery Street Tunnel.
Traffic traveling through Seattle via SR 99 will be directed to I-5 in northern Seattle at 85th
Street or in south Seattle at E Marginal Way and Spokane Street.
