One person, a 55-year-old woman, was rescued from the building and is being treated by paramedics. According to KIRO 7, she is in critical condition.

The fire was in a difficult-to-access spot, requiring a larger-than-normal response from SFD that lasted more than an hour. By 7:15 a.m., SFD pulled back crews and reduced the response.
