Four people were injured in a rollover crash on I-5 in Tacoma Monday morning.
Trooper Guy Gill said the four people were taken to hospitals, but it doesn’t appear any of the injuries sustained in the crash near 38th St. are life-threatening.
The crash blocked all lanes of I-5 in both directions for nearly an hour while tow trucks and emergency responders attempted to clear the scene.
The backup stretched at least seven miles before crews were able to begin opening lanes. The roadway was completely reopened by about 12:50 p.m.
Gill said on Twitter that a medial condition could be a factor in the crash.
