Jackknifed semi snarls traffic on SB I-405 in Renton

A jackknifed semi truck blocked traffic on southbound I-405 through Renton Tuesday afternoon.
The incident resulted in a 9 mile backup on the freeway. Only the HOV lane was initially open for traffic to pass by. All lanes were opened by 5:10 p.m.

Northbound traffic on I-405 also slowed down around the southbound site.
