The Seattle Mariners celebrated “Hot Jimothy Summer” with a special night honoring viral raccoon Jimothy on Wednesday.

A special guest appeared for the celebration — a raccoon.

An attendee captured a video of the animal scuttling in the rafters during the game. The Seattle Times posted the video on Instagram.

Fans were speculating that the raccoon showed up to support his oddly shaped kin.

“Just checking to make sure Jimothy wasn’t lying about a whole night dedicated to him,” one user commented.

Alaska Airlines even joined in on the fun, commenting, “this is jimothy’s city now.”

“Seattle just became Raccoon City,” another user wrote.

The raccoon may have been a good luck charm as the Seattle Mariners beat the Detroit Tigers 4-2.

Fans who bought tickets through the Jimothy Night offer received an exclusive T-shirt, with $2 of every ticket sold benefiting the Ballard Food Bank.

Second ‘Jimothy Night’ tonight

Jimothy Night was so popular, the Mariners decided to add a second night on Friday.

“New date added!” the Mariners stated. “Our Jimothy ticket special on Wednesday, Aug. 5 has sold out, but you’ve got another chance to score a Mariners x Jimothy T-shirt on Friday, Aug. 7.”

Fans can redeem their exclusive T-shirt by bringing an eligible ticket to the top of the Right Field Ramp before the end of the third inning.

The giveaway is only available to those who purchased through the Jimothy Night offer, with sizes available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Friday night will be a two-for-one for special events, as Jimothy Night will fall alongside the Alumni Home Run Derby.

“Commissioner Ken Griffey Jr. will host an epic postgame competition as Ichiro and other former Mariners Sluggers swing for the fences at T-Mobile Park,” the Mariners stated.

The Alumni Home Run Derby is scheduled to take place after the game.
