The Kent City Hall campus is back to normal operations after a bomb threat.

Authorities reopened the Kent Police Department (KPD) lobby Monday, but decided to keep buildings on the Kent City Hall campus closed until Tuesday morning.

The City of Kent stated that the facilities would open Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Authorities remove suspected explosive

Law enforcement safely removed a suspected military-grade undetonated explosive that was brought to the campus, KPD reported Monday afternoon.

A bomb squad was sent to the scene.
