Kurt Cobain’s Olympia apartment transformed into Airbnb

Nirvana fans can now spend the night in one place Kurt Cobain called home, as Cobain’s Olympia apartment is now available to book on Airbnb.
The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment at 114 Pear St NE was built in 1914 and was Cobain’s home from 1989 to 1991, according to the Olympia Historical Society.
The Olympia Historical Society also notes that Cobain wrote “about 75% of his total lifetime output” in the house, and found inspiration to write “Smells Like Teen Spirit” while living there.
The apartment is outfitted with Nirvana posters, pictures of Cobain, guitars, and various books covering the legendary Seattle grunge band.
