A Thurston County elementary school was evacuated after an unknown man made a bomb threat Friday. Police are searching for the man in the Lacey area.
Security footage for Pleasant Glade Elementary School shows a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt walking into the school Friday morning. He reportedly dropped off a package at the front desk, said it was a bomb, and that there were more devices planted on campus. He then left.

The device left at the front desk appeared to be electronics, The Olympian reports. Bomb sniffing dogs and a bomb squad were called to the scene. The bomb squad later detonated a second device at the school, however, it is unclear whether the squad blew it up, or if the device itself was explosive. The Olympian reports that the device the squad blew up did not appear to actually be an explosive, before it was destroyed.
The school was initially placed on lockdown, but the students have since been evacuated from the buildings. The school has been cleared, but the investigation continues, the Thurston County Sheriff reports.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a gray shirt, brown pants and black shoes.
