Lynnwood man killed in confrontation with Snohomish County deputies

Snohomish County Deputies opened fire on a Lynnwood man Wednesday night, killing him as they attempted to investigate a court order violation.
“There was a confrontation between the male and deputies,” says Officer Aaron Snell. “Shots were fired, the suspect was hit.”
Snell says deputies found the 46-year-old a little after 7 p.m near 152nd Place Southwest and Meadow Road just east of I-5.
Authorities have released few details so far, but neighbors say he may have been shooting fireworks at the officers.
He was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
