Man dies while making roadside repairs in Auburn

A man repairing a trailer was killed when that trailer was hit along Highway 18 in Auburn Monday morning.
The Washington State Patrol reports the victim was outside of the trailer at the time of the collision near Auburn-Black Diamond Road.
Repairing his trailer when the same trailer was struck. The same trailer hit the victim. Expect lane closures.

Eastbound Highway 18 is closed at SR 164.

It is the second fatal crash of the morning in the Puget Sound region. One person died when an SUV slammed into the back of a state DOT vehicle.
