One of six people charged with helping a man who fatally
shot a Washington State trooper was sentenced Wednesday.

Joshua Blake, who later took his own life, shot Trooper Tony
Radulescu to death during a traffic stop near Gorst, Wash.,
in February.

Steven Michael Banks pleaded guilty to misdemeanor rendering
criminal assistance in the case. Prosecutors allege that he
helped to arrange a ride to get Blake out of the area
immediately following the crime.

Banks was sentenced to the maximum of 364 days in jail.

Five other people have been charged with felony rendering
criminal assistance in the case.
