Man shot in strip mall parking lot in Shoreline

A man is recovering after he was shot in a strip mall parking lot in Shoreline early Friday.
Police said that shortly before 2 a.m., a man and his girlfriend were in a car in the parking lot of the Central Market at Westminster Way North and Aurora Avenue North.
They went there to meet a friend, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
While they sat in the lot, there was some type of argument with a suspect outside the car.
The suspect fired one shot into the parked car, hitting the man.
The couple then drove themselves to Northwest Hospital in what police said was a stolen car. The victim was then transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
King County deputies are looking for the shooter.
Investigators are questioning the woman because officials say the couple knew the suspect.
