Man shot, killed on First Hill in Seattle on Sunday night

A man was shot and killed in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood on Sunday night.

Dispatchers first received reports of shots fired around 8:30 p.m. Seattle police responded to the scene in the 800 block of Marion Street, administering first aid to the 30-year-old victim until Seattle Fire Department medics were able to take over and transport him to Harborview Medical Center. The man later died at Harborview.

SPD homicide detectives are now investigating, as they look to gather witness testimony to track down a suspect. It’s unclear at this point what the motive behind the shooting was.
