Pair of suspects in Seattle shooting still on the run

Police are searching for two men suspected in a mass shooting in downtown Seattle Wednesday night.

The suspects named by Seattle Police are Marquise Latrelle Tolbert (age 24, 6’1″ 200 pounds) and William Ray Tolliver (age 24, 6’0″ 145 pounds). Both men are considered armed and dangerous. SPD is encouraging anyone who sees them or knows where they are to immediately call 911.
Arrest records reveal both are documented gang members with extensive criminal histories. Tolliver has previously been arrested 44 times with 20 convictions, for offenses including unlawful possession of firearm, theft, malicious mischief, and assault. Tolbert has been arrested 21 times with 15 convictions, including robbery, possession of a stolen vehicle, discharging a firearm in a public place, theft, and harassment.
Tolliver has one conviction for a Class C felony, while Tolbert has two for a Class B felony, and one other for a Class C. A Class B felony typically comes with a prison term up 10 years, while Class C is punishable up to five years.
Officers are reviewing video footage from every surveillance camera they can find for more information.
KIRO 7 reports police arrested a third suspect, Jamel Linonell Jackson, 21, at the scene for possessing a gun as a felon. He admitted to having a gun at the shooting, which police corroborated with video evidence. Jackson was booked late Wednesday night after he was released from Harborview Medical Center, where he was treated for a gunshot wound.
KIRO 7 reports Jackson’s criminal history includes robbery convictions, a misdemeanor harassment conviction, and two prior convictions for unlawful handgun possession, court documents show.
In 2017, according to KIRO 7, prosecutors wrote Jackson was “likely to commit a violent offense” after he was arrested for possession of a handgun outside the McDonald’s on Third Avenue.
“We will relentlessly investigate tonight’s shooting at 3rd and Pine until all those responsible are brought to justice,” Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said in a Wednesday night Tweet.
