It took less than a month for this year’s snowfall to match last year’s paltry conditions for skiers and snowboarders.

Officials with Stevens Pass Mountain Resort reported that the mountain has received 184 inches, or 11.66 feet, as of Dec. 26, which matched the total accumulation for the previous season. It reached that point just 22 days after opening for the 2015-16 winter season.

A nearly month-long storm cycle reportedly added 140 inches onto the resort from Dec. 1-25, as there were only three days without snowfall. On Dec. 18, 16 inches of snow fell on Stevens in 24 hours. Since 1952-53, the average December snowfall has been 102 inches, according to Stevens’ reports. That means, to date, the resort is 137 percent above normal for the month.

Stevens is certainly not alone on the snowballing numbers. Here are the Washington Snow Report’s base depth numbers (lower/upper, in feet) at nearby mountains:

Mt. Baker: 113/153

Alpental: 94/136

White Pass: 71/94

The Summit at Snoqualmie: 84/84

Crystal Mountain: 90/81
