Interstate 5 was shut down near Fife after a semi tipped over and began leaking fuel Thursday morning.

The Fife Police Department reports I-5 was closed near Port of Tacoma Road until about 1 p.m. But the cleanup continued even as traffic started back up.

Traffic was diverted at Exit 137 and 54th Avenue.
