Marquise Tolbert and William Tolliver, two of the suspects in the downtown Seattle shooting at the end of January, pled “not guilty” to murder and assault charges Wednesday as reported by KIRO 7’s Rob Munoz.

2 suspects in downtown Seattle shooting extradited to Washington

The two suspects were charged with first-degree murder for the death of 50-year-old Tanya Jackson, and assault for injuries to the six others involved in the shooting.

The two 24-year-old men were arrested in Las Vegas on Feb. 1 after being on the run since the shooting. Tolbert and Tolliver were extradited to Washington and booked into the King County Jail on Feb. 13.

Jamel Jackson, a third suspect, was arrested on the night of the shooting on a firearms violation. He was booked into the King County Jail on $250,000 bail following his release from Harborview Medical Center. He was one of the eight people shot and is not being charged for murder.

All victims aside from Jackson are believed to be random.
