Pedestrian killed in West Seattle hit and run

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle near Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Brandon Street in West Seattle Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The man in his 40s was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but did not survive.

Detectives are investigating whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
