Pete Carroll had no idea Seahawk DeShawn Shead proposed

Besides a dramatic win Sunday, the Seahawks are also celebrating an engagement. Cornerback DeShawn Shead proposed to his girlfriend after the game.
“She said yes!,” Shead tweeted of his now fiance, Jessica Martinez, after he popped the question on the 50-yard line.
It was all a surprise to Coach Carroll.
“I saw him walking out, I gave him big hugs and all that,” Carroll told 710 ESPN Seattle Monday morning. “I didn’t realize that happened. That’s awesome.”
Shead’s teammates, including Richard Sherman, were gathered around with Shead’s family watching and recording the whole event.
“See, we even have some true romantics on the team,” the coach said.
