Pierce County will be hosting a free job fair on Friday, Feb. 27, with free snacks, career counseling, and stations on resume writing, interviewing, and how to find your dream job.

The fair will be held at the Sprinker Center from 3-7 p.m. Planners said they chose a location and hours that they hope will attract a more diverse pool of applicants.

Pierce County’s Human Resources Director Peter Asai told KIRO Radio’s Gee and Ursula Show that in addition to county jobs, state and private employers will be recruiting, offering positions that range from labor to office jobs.

Pierce County’s Planning and Public Works Department will offer on-the-spot interviews for some entry-level jobs.
