Renton police are asking the public for help identifying a man suspected of setting fire to a display at Walmart.

On Dec. 3, a man walked into a Wal-Mart at 743 Rainier Avenue South and set fire to a display of hunting jackets. That display featured shotgun shells that luckily did not explode as the jackets went up in flames.

The suspect fled the store and was not detained.

The suspect is a white male in his 20s to 30s. He is approximately 5’8″ to 6 feet, with a medium build and brown hair. He was wearing olive green pants, a green hooded sweatshirt and a black t-shirt. His shoes were black with white stripes.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Renton Police Department.
