Prankster starts parody Polar Pioneer Twitter account

A Twitter account has quickly drawn followers, lampooning the Polar Pioneer now moored in Seattle’s waters.
The Polar Pioneer arrived in Seattle Thursday to
an unwelcoming of activists, and following
controversy over its presence in Elliott Bay.
The faux Twitter account, @Polar_Pioneer, sent its first tweet May 14, shortly after the oil rig’s arrival at the Port of Seattle. It has since been sending regular tweets filled with sarcasm and parody while also taunting local news organizations, reporters and fellow Twitter users.
