Officer Jordan Jackson was killed in the line of duty after a vehicle struck his motorcycle last month. A long caravan of law enforcers, civic leaders, and his family honored his service by leading a procession in east Bellevue on Tuesday.

The line began at approximately 11:15 a.m. and made its way through Bellevue streets before arriving at the Meydenbauer Center for the service.

Bellevue Police officer dies after motorcycle collision

Jackson, 34, had been a member of the Bellevue Police Department (BPD) since 2018.

Jackson spent two years on the force before transferring to the traffic unit as a motorcycle officer.

Before joining the BPD, Jackson was an EMT, volunteer firefighter, and member of the King County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Volunteer K-9 Unit.
