A Ride the Ducks vehicle collided with a car at 5th Avenue and Mercer Street Thursday afternoon.

The incident partially blocked westbound traffic on Mercer at around 3:30 p.m. There was one person in the car that collided with the Duck. No injuries have been reported.

“The Duck driver couldn’t see him and that was clear,” a witness told KIRO 7.

“When he stopped he was not aware of what happened,” she said.

Witnesses told KIRO 7 that both vehicles were turning left from Mercer Street onto 5th Avenue. The incident left the car horizontally under the Duck’s front end.

Police say the driver of the car, a 92-year-old man, cut off the Ducks vehicle and caused the collision.

It is the first incident since Ride the Ducks was allowed to start touring the streets of Seattle in January. Ride the Ducks vehicles were off the road for months after one of its tour vehicles caused a collision on the Aurora Bridge, killing five people and injuring many others.

Ride the Ducks recently admitting to safety violations following an investigation into its business.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
