Auburn police are searching for a man who fired his handgun in fit of road rage Wednesday afternoon.

A Hispanic/Black man driving a tan/gold 4-door Toyota Corolla pulled out a gun in the 200 block of 15th Avenue Northwest and fired into another vehicle on the road at around 2:53 p.m., Auburn police report.

The suspect then sped away west on 15th Avenue before turning north on SR 167. He was wearing a black baseball hat, and a gray hoody. He was the only person in the vehicle, according to Auburn police.

A man in the other vehicle was struck in the arm by a bullet. His injuries are not life-threatening.
