Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson getting paid to do Facebook Live

Russell Wilson is one of nearly 140 companies and celebrities being paid to create videos for Facebook’s live-streaming video service. And it looks like the Seahawks QB is already embracing his contract.

A 29-minute video of Wilson in a barber chair talking dating advice was filmed on Thursday. That video was preceded by a 53-minute video of Wilson training with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver and punt returner Antonio Brown on Wednesday.

GeekWire reports Wilson’s contract for Facebook Live is $200,000. Facebook is paying a total of about $50 million.

The Wall Street Journal reports other celebrities paid to use the service include: Kevin Hart, Gordon Ramsay, and Deepak Chopra, and Michael Phelps. Wilson, Phelps, and Ramsay are all making about $200,000, the Journal reports.
