Seattle attorney accused of rapes seeks bail cut

The former partner at a Seattle law firm accused of rapes at massage parlors will be in court Thursday trying to get his bail reduced.
Charges of rape, attempted rape and burglary were filed in September against Danford Grant, whom prosecutors say targeted Asian women working at massage parlors in Seattle, Shoreline and Bellevue.
In some of the crimes, prosecutors claim that Grant threatened the women with a knife. Grant is being held on $3 million bail and has pleaded not guilty to six felony charges.
Grant, 47, is expected to appear before Judge Mary Yu at the King County Courthouse.
Prosecutors say Grant is under investigation for other similar crimes.
