Seattle Mariners wild card playoff schedule released

The Mariners have officially claimed the No. 5 seed after sweeping the Detroit Tigers in a doubleheader Tuesday. Seattle will travel to Toronto to take on the No. 4 seed Toronto Blue Jays in a best-of-three wild card series.

Game 1 will be played Friday at 1:07 p.m. on ESPN, followed by Game 2 on Saturday at 1:07 p.m. on ESPN, and, if necessary, Game 3 will be Sunday at 11:07 a.m. on ABC. All games can be heard on our sister station Seattle Sports 710 AM.

All games will be played in Toronto. The winner of this series will go on to play the AL West Champion Houston Astros in the American League Division Series.

For fans still craving a playoff atmosphere, T-Mobile Park will convert itself into an amphitheater to play Seattle’s upcoming wild card playoff games on the biggest screen in the city.
