The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation is reporting a sewage spill in Magnuson Park off the boat launch.

The Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation has posted closure signs, warning both people and pets to stay out of the water and avoid contact with it.

“People and pets should avoid contact with the water at this location,” the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation stated.

The department is investigating what caused the spill and how much sewage was spilled into the water.
