A person was injured Monday evening in a shooting in Seattle’s Central District, police said.

In a tweet, Seattle police said the shooting happened in the 200 block of 29th Avenue.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center to receive emergency care, police said.

Police are investigating a shooting in the 200 block of 29th Avenue. The victim made their own way to Harborview Medical Center and is receiving emergency care. The suspect(s) are no longer at the scene. We’ll post more information when it becomes available.
