‘Shut up,’ Seahawks punter Jon Ryan says after menu tweet

Seahawks punter Jon Ryan caught a little heat for his tweet Tuesday morning comparing the Seahawks and Orioles in-flight menu.
Ryan told 710 ESPN Seattle’s Bob and Groz Show he can’t believe anyone would be offended by it.
“People jumped all over me saying there are people going hungry… you know, shut up!” he said. “Have a sense of humor.”
Ryan tweeted after the Washington game, “Well well well Delta I can’t help but notice that the Orioles menu looked better than ours today. I’ll remember this.”
It’s no knock against Delta, he said. “Fly Delta, it’s a great airline. It’s a great menu.”
Ironically, Ryan said he doesn’t even eat the food on planes.
“I pack my own frickin’ food,” he said.
Ryan did not disclose what’s in his brown paper bag, but we’re betting it’s not grilled Angus cheese burgers or California sushi rolls.
