It’s still not entirely clear if there will be a celebration downtown, but Seattle’s mayor is asking fans to sign a thank-you card for the Seahawks.

The card reads:

“The Seahawks are a class act. While the outcome of the game was heartbreaking, the team played with tremendous heart and guts to the very end.

All of Seattle is proud of everything they accomplished this year and we know they’ll be back next year.
Please join Mayor Murray’s office in thanking the team by adding #AlwaysA12 to your social media avatars and signing on to our ‘Thank You’ card and proclamation!”
