Aug 17, 2022, 4:43 PM | Updated: Oct 19, 2022, 4:36 pm

SPD needs help with identifying a man who allegedly assaulted a woman in an elevator in the Central District.

The incident was caught on video, which displays disturbing content and could be inappropriate for younger viewers.

In late May, the suspect followed the victim into an apartment building’s elevator. She was beaten, suffering broken bones and a concussion.

“Anytime there’s somebody who is willing to engage in such a brazen attack like this, of course we want to make sure that we get that person and get them into custody,” Seattle Police Officer Valerie Carson said.

The suspect is a white man, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10, with a short light-colored buzz cut and a hunched posture.
