Standoff in Bellevue ends peacefully; suspect in custody

Police say a suspect is in custody after a four hour standoff in Bellevue Wednesday evening.
The King County Sheriff’s Office says a shooting suspect forced them to close Lakemont Blvd. SE in the 4900 block and evacuate nearby businesses.
The Seattle Times reports the 23-year-old man took out a gun and pointed it himself in a parking lot around 6:00 p.m. He’s suspected of shooting a man in Renton Monday night.
The suspect gave up peacefully around 10:15 p.m.
