Starbucks readies plant in Georgia

Boeing isn’t the only company interested in the South – with its 787 plant in South Carolina.

Starbucks says work on a huge new manufacturing plant in Augusta, Georgia remains on schedule for an early 2014 completion date.

Construction of the $172 million facility, which will produce Starbucks VIA Ready Brew and many Starbucks ready-to-drink products, began last year.

More than 140 workers will be employed at the Starbucks site in Augusta Corporate Park.
