Superhero Phoenix Jones fires crew, starts over solo

After years of fighting crime and inspiring others to do the same, Seattle’s self-proclaimed superhero, Phoenix Jones, is breaking up the band.
He said, on his Facebook page, that he thought a large group of civilian crime fighters would be a good idea, but he was wrong.
“It takes a certain type of person to do this job correctly and unfortunately I have inspired, worked with, and even taught some of the wrong kinds of people.”
Make no mistake, Jones isn’t hanging up his mask. He will continue to patrol Seattle streets, but either solo or with superheroes he trusts.
Jones said while he’s had great moments with the Rain City Superhero Movement, some in the group aren’t physically cut out for the job. They can’t do five pull ups or run 2.5 miles in 30 minutes.
Jones added that some were even bringing illegal weapons on patrol and making bad choices that were potentially dangerous. He expects a certain level of professionalism and doesn’t want his name tied to people who “are not loyal or properly trained.”
“As always be safe and make good choices and I’ll see you in the streets,” Jones said.
He posted a YouTube video titled, “Batman Quits the Justice League.”
