Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to a report of two robberies on Friday, one at 16th Avenue and E Yesler Street and the other at 17th Avenue and Spruce St.

The victim, a 39-year-old woman, said three teens grabbed her fanny pack and punched her in the face trying to wrestle the pack away from her. They eventually fled on foot without the fanny pack.

A second report came in of a 39-year-old man who said three teenage boys pointed a gun at him and demanded cash. The man handed over his money and the boys ran off.

Officers say that the teens are also responsible for stealing a wallet out of a delivery driver’s vehicle earlier that day.

Officers were able to track down the suspects and arrest them. The suspects are 12, 16, and 15 years old.

They were booked into the Youth Services Center on charges of armed robbery

Woman arrested for vehicular homicide in Roy

According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, a 48-year-old woman was killed after her vehicle crashed on the shoulder of 304th Street E in Roy.

Just after midnight Saturday, deputies responded to the site of a single-vehicle crash where they found the passenger had been ejected from the car. She was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 43-year-old woman, had to be pulled from the wreckage and was taken to the hospital.

According to the PCSD, the vehicle was traveling westbound on 304th St E when it went off the roadway. It then struck two trees before coming to rest in a ditch on the north side of the road.

Traffic deputies’ initial investigation indicates that speed and impairment were factors in the collision.

The surviving woman was later arrested for vehicular homicide and will be transferred to Pierce County Jail once she is released from the hospital.

The suspect was traveling west on 108th Street when they hit a pedestrian. The car did not stop.

Using vehicle parts recovered at the scene, detectives have determined that the suspect’s vehicle is likely a 2009, light-colored Audi A4.

Police are asking for anyone with information on the crash to come forward.

Driver arrested after hitting, killing man standing next to parked car in Puyallup

A 32-year-old man from Tacoma is in custody after allegedly hitting and killing a man with his car at the 2200 block of South Meridian in Puyallup.

According to the Puyallup Police Department, officers responded to an incident just after 2 a.m. Sunday after the suspect called 911 to report he had hit a car parked in the roadway.

The man also told officers there was a man lying next to his car and was not responding. He started CPR on the man until police arrived a few minutes later.

The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Police arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular homicide.

Investigators are still unsure why the car was stopped in the roadway, or why the man was outside his car at the time of the incident.

A passenger in that vehicle, a 32-year-old woman from Tacoma, was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

The Metro Cities Major Collision Response Team is continuing to investigate this incident.
