Head-on collision involving multiple vehicles in Tukwila, two hospitalized

Two people involved in a head-on car crash in Tukwila have been rushed to the hospital in serious condition on Wednesday morning, Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson announced.

The crash occurred on State Route 900 near 57th Ave. S. at approximately 6:30 a.m. At the time of the reporting, WSP mentioned that multiple lanes were blocked, but all lanes have reopened as of about 9:45 a.m.

Johnson posted on social media that the causing driver hit two cars and then a third head-on.

WSP troopers are investigating whether the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
