Two killed, 6 injured in wrong-way crash on SR 516

State Route 516 in Kent was closed for hours after a crash that killed two people and injured six others Monday night.
The crash involving four vehicles happened about 11:40 p.m. on SR 516 near West Meeker Street.
According to Washington State Patrol, a vehicle was heading eastbound in the westbound lanes.
The occupants of the wrong-way vehicle, two brothers from Federal Way, were killed.
Six other people were injured, including a 5-year-old who has a fractured femur. Three people are at Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. Three others are at Valley Medical Center.
SR 516 was closed between Meeker and Washington for more than five hours. It reopened at 5 a.m.
