Two motorcyclists sought after firing at Tukwila cops from I-5

Police are searching for two motorcyclists who shot at officers while they were serving a search warrant at a house along I-5 in Tukwila on Thursday morning.
The suspects, heading south on I-5, slowed down at an area that overlooks the property located in the 14900 block of 51st Avenue South. They fired at least seven shots at the officers and then fled on I-5.
No officers were injured.
“While the officers were executing the search warrant, we believe somebody inside the home called and had somebody drive by the house,” Tukwila Police Commander Eric Drever explained.
Police believe one of the motorcyclists — both of whom are still at large — could be Kevin M. Vaughn, 26, who is associated with the house where the search warrant was being served.
Vaughn is described as a white male connected with the Resurrection motorcycle gang. He is 6’1″ with brown hair, blue eyes, and has a tattoo that reads “HATRED” across his forehead.
The Resurrection motorcycle gang has been known to be associated with the infamous Banditos Motorcycle Club.
The first motorcyclist was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a black IKON vest featuring a spinal pattern on the back, according to police. He had a green helmet and was riding a green motorcycle.
The second motorcyclist was riding a silver Honda CBR and was wearing a gray jacket with a black helmet.
Drever said that investigators believe the shooters and Vaughn are associated. He would not comment on the nature of the search warrant, but did say that the person they were serving the warrant on was not located at the home.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is also involved in the investigation.
“The ATF are also with us because we had firearms that we knew would be associated with the house and we have located firearms in the house,” Drever said.
The Washington State Patrol was called in to assist with traffic while investigators combed the I-5 off-ramps to SR 518.
