Two people were killed in a car crash on Highway 9 in Marysville Friday afternoon.
Washington State Patrol says a 42-year-old man and 38-year-old woman from Marysville died at the scene one mile north of 84th St N.E. near a roundabout.
A man and woman, both elderly, were transported to a hospital in Everett with serious injuries. Troopers say they were in the causing vehicle.
Investigators say impairment does not appear to be a factor in the collision.
SR 9 will be completely blocked near 84th St. for awhile.
