Two Seattle Police officers have been charged with misdemeanor drunk driving.
The city attorney’s office said officers Marie Gochnour and Sean Moore were off-duty Dec. 17 when they crashed their car near First Avenue South and South Lander streets.
In breath tests Gochnour registered blood-alcohol levels of .234 percent and .247 percent. Moore’s breath sample was .161 and .149. The state’s legal limit is .08 percent.
The two were found in Gochnour’s car. Both officers were charged with the crime because it’s believed the two switched places while driving.
Both officers have been reassigned to desk duty.
