Washington teen finds investors on ‘Shark Tank’

A Whatcom County teenager probably won’t need a job delivering pizzas or flipping burgers after his appearance on the ABC television show “Shark Tank.”
Henry Miller, 16, of Deming sold a 75 percent stake in his honey company to two investors for $300,000.
Miller’s company, Henry’s Humdingers, makes raw spiced honey.
The reality show “Shark Tank” features potential investors who hear pitches from entrepreneurs.
The offer was made on Friday night’s show by Mark Cuban, the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, and high-tech mogul Robert Herjavec.
Henry plans to use the money to pay back his parents, who sunk $150,000 into helping him start Henry’s Humdingers.
