A “suspicious package” that forced the evacuation of Marysville Municipal Court was blown up Monday morning.
The court’s morning calendar was cancelled as a bomb squad worked to secure the scene.

The area was initially closed off, but the court building reopened around 1:15 p.m. Marysville police said that after investigating the matter, the object in question was a “hoax device.”
