A multi-county COVID-19 outbreak associated with the three-day Watershed Music Festival has been reported by the Grant County Health District.
Multiple cases have been identified across at least 11 Washington counties, including King, Whatcom and Kitsap counties.
The Grant County Health District is aware of over 160 lab confirmed COVID-19 cases across the state from people who attended the event.
Public health officials are urging anyone who attended the music festival to self-quarantine and seek testing.
Health officials say symptoms of the virus take five to six days after exposure, but the incubation period could be as long as 14 days.
While some people may never develop noticeable symptoms, it is important to self-quarantine and self-monitor for two full weeks after any possible exposure.
The Watershed Music Festival was held in George, Washington, from July 30 to Aug. 1.
