Way past the line: Washington delegates want Trump to end campaign now

He may have survived his second debate, but support for Donald Trump isn’t looking good in Washington.
Nearly two dozen Washington State Republican delegates are calling on Trump to leave the presidential race over crude, sexual comments he made in 2005.
Delegate Eric Minor (Gig Harbor) says, if Trump doesn’t leave, Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence should resign from the ticket on principle.

Minor says there’s been a host of issues he’s taken exception with.
“I don’t want to pretend that’s the only thing that sticks out to me,” Minor explained.
However, Minor says the remarks Trump made 10 years ago that were revealed in a leaked video are what have prompted people around the country to say “enough is enough.”
The video that sparked outrage was leaked on Friday. In the video, Trump is heard blurting out lewd and sexually charged comments about women as he waits to make a cameo on a soap opera. Trump bragged about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women who were not his wife on recordings obtained by The Washington Post and NBC News. The celebrity businessman boasted “when you’re a star, they let you do it,” in a conversation with Billy Bush, then a host of the television show “Access Hollywood.”
Bill Pruitt, a producer on seasons one and two of “The Apprentice,” a reality show starring Trump, tweeted that the video is just the beginning.
The video was released two days before Trump and his opponent Hillary Clinton took the stage for their second presidential debate.

Trump has tried to justify his language in the video, saying it is just “locker-room banter.”
Minor says he understands what locker-room banter is. Trump’s language, he says, is more than that.
“Trump seemed to be indicating that it was acceptable for him to essentially sexually assault any woman who crossed his path and because he’s a celebrity he can get away with it. And that’s stepping way past the line.”
Among the Washington delegates calling for Trump to end his campaign are Gina Blanchard-Reed, Jennifer Fetters, Janna Anderson, Anthony Ceres, Braedon Wilkerson, Manette Merrill, Mark Marr, Amy Davis, Phillip Wilson, Virginia Schloredt, and Pat Tarzwell.
