Trump just made us forget all about those leaked tapes

I wasn’t sure how Donald Trump would get past the release of those lewd tapes at last night’s debate. I thought maybe he’d break into some crude chorus dedicated to all the women he’s slept with.
But I have to hand it to him, he found an even better way to push it off the front page.
“If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation. Because there have never been so many lies…” Trump said.

Mrs. Clinton seemed unfazed.
“You know, it is awfully good that someone with a temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,” Clinton said.
“Yeah, because you’d be in jail,” Trump responded.
And just like that everybody forgot about the lewd remarks toward women, because suddenly we were looking at a candidate who actually hoped to jail his opponent after winning the election!
What next? Giant pictures of the Dear Leader hanging from the Capitol? Arresting anybody who takes a knee during the national anthem.
No, not to worry. On CNN campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says Trump didn’t mean it literally.
“He told America tonight what American has told him, the frustration that there is a different set of rules for this woman.”
Trump supporter Jeffrey Lord confirmed that.
“It was humor to illustrate the point,” he said.
Which I know disappoints many of you, because you’re convinced Hillary deserves it; but don’t get your hopes up. According to the Internet, President Obama had her pardon written long ago.
