Nearly 3,000 people in West Seattle are without power Wednesday morning due to a power outage.

According to Seattle City Light, the outage started at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday after a tree fell onto power lines, knocking out power. Approximately 2,717 customers were affected by the power outage.

Power is expected to be restored by 7 a.m., according to Seattle City Light’s outage map.
